A beautiful (and nearly complete) specimen of the extinct Eocene aged #Nautiloid from Harleyville, South Carolina – Aturia. This specimen was found by PPM Founder Skye Basak @carolinameghuntress while out on a field collecting Trip on Sunday of this week and will one day be housed in the Eocene Wing of the PPM exhibit halls!
Complete specimens of nautiloids from South Carolina are extremely rare so this will be a wonderful addition to the collection!
